Overview

Walk the streets that launched Bob Dylan and defined a generation. This small-group Greenwich Village tour covers the folk clubs, hidden history, and iconic landmarks that shaped American music and culture — with three classic food tastings included. Fans of A Complete Unknown will recognize many of these locations from the film.

Over 20 stops in two hours at an easy pace, you'll visit the Bitter End, Cafe Wha?, the Gaslight Cafe, Stonewall Inn, the Friends building, Washington Square Park, and more. Your guide brings the neighborhood to life through stories, music, and a few great local bites from Village institutions that have been feeding New Yorkers for decades.

Tastings include a falafel sandwich from Mamoun's (NYC's oldest falafel shop), arancini from Faicco's Italian Specialties (open since 1900), and a mini cannoli from Rocco's Pastry.

No lectures. No big crowds. Just Greenwich Village the way it deserves to be experienced.

This information can be found on every Experience we offer under the Cancellation Policy section, as well as on the checkout page.

Standard Cancellation Policy — A majority of our activity cancellations are free up to 24 hours before the activity commencement time (based on the local time of the activity).

Non-Standard Cancellation Policy — A minority of Goods or Services have other, different cancellation policies. In all circumstances, you must check the cancellation policy contained in the applicable Product listing at the time of your Booking, which is the policy that will apply to and govern the terms of your cancellation and any refunds.

To cancel your Reservation you must contact Cool NYC as soon as possible.

Cancellation Due To Bad Weather
If your Activity Operator must cancel due to bad weather and cannot accommodate you on another day, you will be issued a refund. Please be aware before issuing a refund, Cool NYC will confirm if this is the case. Please note, this is only a valid reason if the Tour Operator cancels the tour.
