What To Expect
Don' want to go all the way to Bushwick to experience graffiti ? In the heart of Manhattan's Lower East Side, we got you covered ! Discover the Lower East Side, one of the most famous neighborhood in Manhattan for graffiti writers and street artists. You will learn the basics of graffiti from a professional artist with more than two decades in the New York scene. You will work with water-based paint, try out different cap techniques and use stencils, then apply all of it to a 3 x 5 inch canvas board that you take home. Your artist adds the finishing touches on request, so you leave with a New York souvenir no one else has.
The session lasts 1.5 hours: one hour of creation in the workshop, then 30 minutes of drying time.
It is built around a lesson led by the instructor, followed by time to work on your own piece with support whenever you need it.
A paper bag is provided to carry your canvas home.
